This enchanting 16th Century manor house, now converted into an award-winning 21 bedroom luxury hotel and restaurant, is located in the picturesque village of Corfe Castle, which lies in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck.
Corfe is an unspoilt English village built in Purbeck stone and dominated by the ruins of the Norman Castle.
Every bedroom is individually decorated with its own unique style and charm. Some are located in the original manor and some have Castle views. All have private bathroom, flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and quality courtesy products.
Purbeck is a very special place. The World Heritage status of its ‘Jurassic’ coast, together with beautiful beaches, stunning countryside, history, geology, wildlife and so much more make it a 'must-see' location.
Swanage, Studland, Wareham, Lulworth, Durdle Door, Bovington Tank Museum, Weymouth, Swanage Steam Railway, Chesil Beach, Sandbanks and many more delights are all within easy reach.
Mortons House is proud of the commendations received for its traditional English cuisine in its restaurant, having been awarded a prestigious Second AA Rosette. The ethos is 'to produce a top-quality menu, using predominantly local ingredients, with a few twists to tempt the palate.'
